As a referee, I tend to defend referees as much as possible. But between the 60th minute and the 75th minute, I was infuriated. Those yellow cards were completely unwarranted (In my opinion), the slide tackle card had absolutely no contact. Then there were fouls that were simply tripping up of the “victim” of the foul, no call necessary. The USWNT are 22-0-2 all-time against Australia. Could be a historic match for the Matildas if the US doesn’t find another gear in the second half Are you fucking kidding me, ref? How is Rapinoe getting a yellow but the Aussie players aren’t?
