As I laid out in the post, the reason to discourage illegals from responding is to decrease the power of states where they live, because those states tend to lean Democrat. There’s nothing “right” about discouraging anyone from responding to the Census. I think a lot of right-wingers in here like yourself think that, by discouraging illegal aliens from responding to the Census, the government is somehow punishing illegal aliens. That’s not the case. No individual gets any tangible benefit from responding to the Census. This is all about subverting the rule of law to consolidate power among the elite.
